Rosacambra
About This Spot
Rosacambra feels like a hidden jewel tucked away in the gentle Sicilian countryside, where time slows down just enough to savor the simple pleasures of good food and warm company. From the moment you arrive along the peaceful lanes of Santa Croce Camerina, there’s a welcome rhythm here that invites you to settle in and breathe.
This is a place where hospitality is heartfelt and genuine, echoing the spirit of a family-run farmstay that has carefully preserved the flavors and traditions of the region. The atmosphere is comfortably unpretentious: rustic tables, the quiet hum of local conversation, and the soft clinking of glasses filled with the house’s generous pours of local wine. Meals are paced naturally, encouraging you to linger over each course, share stories, and savor the moment.
Eating at Rosacambra is a journey through Sicily’s rich culinary heritage, where each dish arrives like a small celebration of local ingredients and time-honored recipes. Starting with a selection of thoughtfully prepared antipasti, you will find yourself gently coaxed into the heart of the menu — rustic pastas made with a loving hand, and hearty mains that feel like a warm embrace after a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside. There’s a meaningful balance here between familiar comfort and the vibrant, sun-soaked flavors that define this corner of Italy.
Visitors often notice the relaxed yet attentive service, the ease with which language barriers become opportunities for connection, and the evident care poured into every aspect of the meal. Many leave feeling they’ve not just dined well, but that they’ve been welcomed into a story — one that celebrates local life, generosity, and the joys found in shared experiences around the table.
At Rosacambra, eating feels less like a transaction and more like a quiet celebration of place and people. It’s a space to uncover the heart of Sicilian cuisine, beyond the tourist trail, where a genuine love of food and community quietly shines through every bite.

Very authentic place, we loved it there! The service was speedy and paid attention to detail. The food was great, 6 antipasti, 1 primi and secondi for 22€ per person is the best value for money deal in the whole Ragusa area. Highly recommended!

Beautiful local restaurant. The chef spoke English and she translated for us as it was a set menu. €25 pp and that included 6 different antipasti, a pasta course, a meat course and dessert. Incredible food, the staff were brilliant. Definitely worth a visit

Fantastic food! Menu with 6 antipasti (vegetables), primi (pasta) and secondi (meat), dessert, wine and coffee for €27 euro per person. All really excellent quality, lovely people, this place should be packed!

Genuine homemade food in a relaxed atmosphere. No fancy dishes, just straight, good, genuine food. The Antipasti are a must.

If you are within a radius of 20 kilometers from this restaurant and you are by car - you should definitely visit it. To miss this opportunity is to miss out on the culinary experience of visiting Sicily. ...the menu has small portions - "Turistic Menu" (15 euros per person), we ordered them and ate to satiety. Wine and water are included in the price.
